Research Abstract

本研究の目的は、ホストとして亜鉛ポルフィリン二量体、ゲストとして不斉を有するジアミノシクロヘキサン等、不斉を持つ分子が形成する超分子の不斉ダイナミクスを、その光励起状態で検出することであった。ジアミノシクロヘキサンを用いる利点は、S体R体を安定して得られる事と、ホストとの錯形成定数の高さ(〜10^7M^<-1>程度)による。前年度に構築した時間分解円二色性測定装置の改良を行うため、光学系の改良を行った。まず、円二色性を測定するために、円偏光を発生させる必要があるが、そのためには、まず高純度の直線偏光を発生させ、その後適当な位相差板を用いて円偏光とする必要がある。スペクトルを得るためには、広い帯域で使用できる位相差板が必要であるが、検討を重ねた結果、物理的に歪ませた厚さ2mmの石英板を用いるのが適切であると判断した。ナノ秒過渡吸収法を応用した時間分解円二色性測定には一定の光量が必要不可欠であるが、直線偏光を得るために用いる光学素子(グランレーザープリズム)の物理的な大きさの制約により、光量を上げることが難しかった。本年度、新規に購入した大口径のグランレーザープリズムを用いたシステムで超分子の基底状態の円二色性測定が安定して行えることを確認した。また、レーザー励起後ナノ秒領域で観測される励起3重項における過渡円二色性の測定に成功したが、S/N比の改善がいまだ必要な状況である。励起1重項における蛍光円二色性の検討も行い、基礎的なデータを得ることが出来た。
