| Research Abstract |
本研究の中心課題は、戦後の日本人の認識を大きく規定してきた表象文化および大量消費型活字メディアの分析である。昨年度に引きつづき今年度も、1945年〜60年代のメディアにみられる「朝鮮」の位相を調査・分析し、表象文化の史料的意義および社会的意義を明らかにすることに取り組んだ。またさらに今年度は、1990年代に発表されたメディアにも対象を広げ、「植民地」をめぐる経験が、いかに言語化されているのかについても考察を加えた。
研究成果の一部は、Editor P.H.Kratoska "Asian Labor in the Wartime Japanese Empire" (Singapore University Press,2006)に発表した。"Asian Labor in the Wartime Japanese Empire"は、シンガポール国立大学教授P. H.Kratoska博士の編集による、戦時下の強制労働に関する論集-An international group of specialists on the Occupation period examine the labor needs and the recruitment and use of workers (whether forced, military or otherwise) throughout the Japanese empire.-である。本論集の第5章、Naitou Hisako "Korean Forced Labor in Japan's Wartime Empire" (pp.90-98)において、帚木蓬生の小説『三たびの海峡』(1992年)を題材に取り上げ、「朝鮮人強制連行」をめぐる経験が、いかに言語化されているのかについて論じた。
