Research Abstract

これまで我々の研究室では有機塩を用いた超分子集合体の設計を行い、様々な構造体を作り出すことに成功してきた。そこでこれまで作り出すことに成功した非共有結合性高分子、超分子集合体を応用することで既存の物質と同様の構造と機能を発現できないかと考え、本研究の目的とした。自己組織化の過程を用いることにより均質で多様な機能を付与した構造体を得ることができると考えた。
以下に昨年に引き続き得られた結果を列挙する。
1.これまでに引き続き、構造ユニットとして有機塩を用い、超分子ナノデバイスとなりうる構造のスクリーニングを行った。得られた有機塩の構造および化学的性質を赤外分光法、熱重量分析、単結晶X線構造解析により明らかにした。
2.機能性有機色素を、超分子的手法を用いることにより、色素分子がらせん状に配置された多孔性物質を構築することができた。この物質は様々な芳香族分子を取り込み、それによって色調を変化させる特殊な機能を持っていることが明らかとなった。
3.また蛍光物質であるアントラセンジスルホン酸とアルキルアミンの有機塩を用い、自己組織化プロセスを用いて配列させたところ、その配列に応じて発光強度、発光色調を変化させることに成功した。この手法は有機固体材料の開発に大きな影響を与えることができる。
4.さらにこれらの組み合わせを工夫することによって化学刺激応答的に配列をダイナミックに変化させることが可能となり、その配列に応じた発光波長を得ることができた。この変化はアントラセンでは稀であるエキシマー発光とモノマー発光の切り替えによって起こる。
5.最後に本研究の総括を行なった。
