Research Abstract

ポリオキソメタレートの負電荷が3の[α-PW_<12>O_<40>]^<3->から6の[α-CoW_<12>O_<40>]^<6->に至る範囲で,マクロカチオン[Cr_3O(OOCH)_6(H_2O)_3]^+及びアルカリ金属イオンとの複合化を行った結果,Na_2[Cr_3O(OOCH)_6(H_2O)_3][α-PW_<12>O_<40>]・16H2O[1a],K_3[Cr_3O(OOCH)_6(H_2O)_3][α-SiW_<12>O_<40>]・16H_2O[2a],Rb4[Cr_3O(OOCH)_6(H_2O)_3][α-BW_<12>O_<40>]・16H_2O[3a],Cs_5[Cr_3O(OOCH)_6(H_2O)_3][α-CoW_<12>O_<40>]・7.5H_2O[4a]が得られた.1a-4aは結晶水を含む親水チャネルを有し,室温で真空排気すると対応する無水物(ゲストフリー相)1b-4bが得られた.1a-4a及び1b-4bの構造を単結晶及び粉末XRDにより解析した結果,格子体積は1a(1b)>2a(2b)>3a(3b)>4a(4b)の順に減少した.これは,イオン性固体の構成要素であるポリオキソメタレートの負電荷が1a(1b)<2a(2b)<3a(3b)<4a(4b)の順に増加し,構成イオン間のイオン結合が強くなってパッキングが密になったためと考えられる.ゲスト分子として直鎖アルコールを例にとり,1b-4bの分子収着特性を検討した.ポリオキソメタレートの負電荷が3と最も小さい1bはブタノールを収着し,負電荷の増加に伴い,収着できるアルコール分子の炭素数は減少した.さらに,1b-4bは有機極性ゲスト分子(アルコール,ニトリルやエステル)の炭素鎖一つ分の違いを識別し,混合物の分離にも応用可能であった.(Inorg.Chem.2006)
