Research Abstract

本研究は、自在な色素導入が可能なπスタックポリマー群の創製並びに、安定な刺激応答性ナノ材料の開発を目的としている。最終年度にあたる本年度は、これまでに得た低分子ゲルの精密分子設計を元にして、芳香環の電子的な特性に着目した低分子ゲル内精密分子認識系の構築、精密に有効共役長を制御したジアセチレンゲルを鋳型としたポリジアセチレン繊維の合成に成功した。
低分子ゲル内精密分子認識系の構築
芳香環の電子的特性に着目し、電子受容性芳香族化合物であるナフタレンジイミドを基体とする低分子ゲル化剤の合成を行い、電子供与性芳香族化合物に対する一次元ホストとしての有用性を検討した。その結果、市販品として入手可能なジヒドロキシナフタレンが特異的にゲル繊維内に包接され、その位置異性体7種の比色認識を可能とした。
低分子ゲルを鋳型としたポリジアセチレンの有効共役長制御
ジアセチレンをコアに有する低分子ゲル化剤を合成した。水素結合などで一次元状に集積した24量体の再安定構造を求めたところ、分子構造内のアルキル鎖スペーサーの炭素数の偶奇により得られる一次元状集合体の平面性に著しい違いが生じることが予測された。実際に炭素数が3〜8のものを合成し、ゲル内での重合を行ったところ、得られたポリジアセチレンの色調に顕著な差が現れ、有効共役長に明確な偶奇性が見られた。さらに得られたポリジアセチレン線維の電界電子放出能を測定したところ、上述の偶奇効果はturn-on電圧に反映されていることが明らかとなった。
