Research Abstract

2005年3月には顎顔面再建への3次元ナビゲーションシステムの利用について、2nd International Conference on Advanced Digital Technology (Banff, Canada)にて発表を行った。従来用いてきたSURFACERによるシミユレーションと分析に代わる新たなソフトウエアで顎顔面データを統合した。ソフトウエアと上下顎模型の動きをリアルタイムで追尾するための模型用アダプタを使ってその精度を検証した。この検証結果については2005年6月の第15回日本顎変形症学会総会(徳島)にて発表した。トラッキングの精度は良好であったが顎口腔の手術のためにはトラッキングエリアの狭さが問題となった。2005年9月にはEpitec implant systemを用いた顎顔面再建へのナビゲーションシステムの利用について、17^<th> International Conference of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (Vienna, Austria)で発表した。論文ついては、本ナビゲーションシステムの基本原理について"An orthognathic simulation system integrating teeth, jaw and face data using 3D cephalometry"としてInternational Journal of Oral & maxillofacial Surgeryに投稿中であり査読結果待ちの状態である。手術への応用については当科辻との共同で"A new navigation system based on cephalograms and dental casts for oral and maxillofacial surgery"として同雑誌に掲載が決定している。
