Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究の目的は,太陽電池への炭素材料適用である.これにより,これまで広く使われてきたITO 電極を代替し,低コスト,低環境負荷かつフレキシブルな次世代の素子を提供できる.究極的な目標は,グラファイト,フラーレン,カーボンナノチューブ(CNT)などの炭素同素体を活用したオールカーボンの太陽電池である.また,本研究はそれのみに留まらず,それ以外の材料,例えば遷移金属ジカルコゲナニドやスパッタ酸化亜鉛,アントラセン誘導体,その他一般的な有機太陽電池も範疇とした.この目的に沿い、CNT電極を両側に適用したペロブスカイト太陽電池やCNTとフラーレン層でサンドイッチしたペロブスカイト太陽電池などについて研究を行った.後者の成果は、特に韓国ソウル大学との国際共同研究として行われた.また,それらの研究と共に,作動圧力を高めに設定したスパッタ酸化亜鉛層はアニールを必要とせず有機太陽電池の電子輸送層として高い性能を示す事,溶液法による遷移金属ジカルコゲニドの適用,アントラセン誘導体を表面処理に用いた電子輸送層の開発などの成果も得られた.
研究主体であるJeon博士が特任助教に着任したため,特別研究員としての期間は10ヶ月で終了したが,この短い期間に最終的に8報の査読付き論文を出版する事ができ,オールカーボン太陽電池に向けた道が大きく開かれた.
