| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The project ModelUnitTT aimed to investigate the technology, organizational and institutional level factor influencing the success of university transfer via licensing. The project attempted to elucidate how selected factors are contributing to the efficiency of the university licensing.
A model of factors influencing university licensing and related indicator has been developed and its first version has been published.
In order to refine the above mentioned model, the project has identified missing data and links and found solutions thereof as well as made suggestions in their regard both during fellow’s consultations with Technology Transfer Office (TTO) as well as to the other relevant stakeholders. Furthermore, a micro-level database has been developed connecting also data beyond previously planned one and the factors have been researched in a string of analysis in order to validate the models’ factors.
Several articles considering the individual level, organizational level and institutional level were published. Approximately 50 interviews were conducted with TTO staff, experts, government officials and patent offices.
