Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Dr. Hussain developed her research for the past two years into articles, grant proposals for her book, and a policy op-ed. She submitted two journal articles, “‘Order’ and ‘Disorder’ in Cities: A Critical Assessment” and “Rethinking Political Influence: Why We Missed Trumpism and What Political Rigging Practices Portend for Democratic Process”. She authored a policy-opinion piece published by the Wilson Center (Washington DC), “The Next “Day Zero”: Water Scarcity and Political Instability Beyond Cape Town”. She also authored two grant proposals for her book and fieldwork, one of which has been submitted to Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation (United States). Dr. Hussain also gave talks at Tokyo University, Kyoto University and Goldsmiths, University of London Goldsmith.
