Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This project mainly confirmed the validity of a modal equivalent-circuit model I had proposed. In terms of the differential transmission line, the design procedure of a tightly coupled asymmetrically tapered bend was established, a methodology for reducing the differential skew on a meshed structure such as a board’s glass cloth was proposed, and a crosstalk mitigation by introducing a periodic structure and its mechanism clarification were carried out. Regarding the connector and its surroundings, mode conversion at the connector was suppressed by improving the board pattern and an estimation method of the connector’s imbalance factor was proposed. In addition, a noise-source equivalent-circuit model of DC/DC convertor was developed and validated for predicting the voltage of the conducted disturbance quantitatively.
