Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では、事前に構造制御された機能性高分子を前駆体とし、その固相炭素化により、高度に形態制御された炭素材料を開発する。具体的にはまず、高次キラル液晶を利用して合成したらせん状共役ポリマーを熱処理することにより、前駆体の形態をそのまま保持したキラル炭素材料を調製する手法を確立する、次に、得られた炭素材料の形態機能の発現を目指す。平成30年度においては以下の研究項目を実施した。
1.平成29年度に引き続き「共役ポリマーを前駆体とするバインダーフリー炭素電極フィルムの調製とそのスーパーキャパシタ応用」の研究テーマに取り組み、学術論文としてまとめ、英国化学会の科学雑誌である「RSC Advances」(2018) に公表した。
2.ヨウ素ドーピングにより不融化させた酵素合成アミロースフィルムを炭素化および黒鉛化することで、これまでにない低密度グラファイト化フィルムを調製した。また、得られた新規黒鉛化材料のスーパーキャパシタ電極フィルムへの応用を目的として、各種電気化学的手法による評価を実施した結果、良好な結果を得た。さらに、これらの結果を学術論文としてまとめ、エルゼビア社の学術誌である「Carbohydrate Polymers」(2018)に公表した。
