Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have succeeded in establishing cardiac fibroblast cell line from Col1a1-GFP transgenic mice, which express green fluorescent protein (GFP) under the control of Collagen1a1 promoter. Additionally we have found that lactic acid increases Collagen 1a1 transcription in mRNA level in the established cell line. There was an increase in nuclear transcription factor HIF1a protein level in Western blot analysis which suggest Col1a1 transcription level is controlled under HIF1a protein level.
