| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have conducted a prospective cohort study to fully investigate tobacco-related lung diseases including idiopathic interstitial pneumonitis in 29 hospitals in Fukuoka Prefecture. Using genome from this cohort, we have started seaching polymorphisms in idiopathic interstitial pneumonitis in Japanese populations.
