Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The object of this study shall be an examination on the style of YAMATO-E from the late Kamakura period to the Northern and Southern Dynasties period. I picked up the definite works of production year, and I observed the technique and measured the sizes of the works. The theme of the works ranged widely over a Buddhist painting, Shinto paintings and portraits. Although the diversity of the theme is the strong point of this study, I didn’t observe enough numbers of the works as a result. I will carry this research over to the new subject; 18K12251.
