Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we developed a real-time on-site monitoring system for foodborne pathogens by using a microfluidic device. Foodborne pathogens in lettuce, beef and chicken were quantified by using microfluidic device as well as fluorescence microscopy. Our microfluidic device enables for the on-site rapid detection of foodborne pathogens and is appeared to contribute to the bacterial monitoring at food production line.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
