Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度は昨年度に引き続き、漸近平坦時空における漸近対称性と放射現象の記憶効果の関係に関する研究やAdS/CFT対応に関連する研究を行った。

記憶効果に関する研究としては、加速された粒子の放射を調べることで、その記憶効果がどのように見えるかを考察した。さらにプローブ粒子のスピンの向きの変化を見ることで記憶効果を観測する方法も提案した。別の論文では、電磁波の記憶効果が対称性の保存則として導出できることを示した。さらに、保存則の補正項に関する記憶効果の導出も行った。また、この対称性がゲージ冗長性ではなく、物理的な対称性であることを示した。さらに、補正光子定理が漸近対称性のWard-高橋恒等式とみなせることを荷電粒子が質量をもつ場合に示した。
AdS/CFT対応において、ブラックホール時空上の時間依存するある量が、CFTにおける複雑量と関係しているという予想がある。この複雑量をヒルベルト空間上の距離として定義する方法が提案されているが、どのような距離を採用すべきかは不明である。本研究では、ヒルベルト空間上のユニタリー変換で不変な距離を複雑量の定義として採用した場合、重力側で対応していると思われている量の時間依存性を再現することは不可能であることを示した。これによって、場の理論の複雑量が満たすべきある基準を与えることに成功した。
別の研究では、AdS/CFT対応を簡略化した模型のニューラルネットワーク表現を与えた。そして、境界で与えたデータに基づく正しい場の振る舞いを再現するようにネットワークの変数を機械学習させる問題を考えた。この変数は時空の計量に対応し、境界のデータからバルクの幾何の情報を読み取ることができる。特に、QCDのデータを与えた時に創発する時空を読み取り、そこからクオーク間ポテンシャルを計算し、ポテンシャルの定性的な振る舞いが再現されることを見た。
