Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本特別研究員の本年度の研究は、期待以上の進展があったといえる。本年度は、採用最終年度として、被災地におけるフィールドワークとシミュレーション、アメリカ滞在における文献調査をまとめ、質的・量的研究を織り交ぜた博士論文を執筆することができた。支援の連鎖する現象について、実証研究・シミュレーション研究の量的研究の成果（研究1）と、被災地におけるフィールドワークを通した質的研究の実践的成果（研究2）を総合的にまとめ、災害後の実践の提言を具体的に示すことができた（研究3）。
具体的に、研究１においては、日本との文化比較から新たな支援の枠組みについて、アメリカにおける災害の研究系譜と事例を考察し、支援体制の2つのモデル（管理統制モデル対自律即興モデル）としてまとめた。研究2では、支援が連鎖する背景として「心理的な負債」を想定したモデルを用い、より可視的にわかりやすい地図上のモデル、ネットワークモデルを組み込んだ実践的なシミュレーションを構築した。熊本地震後の問題のまとめと文化比較からの新たな支援モデルの成果（研究1）と、支援が連鎖する可能性を計量調査から実証的にも、シミュレーションから探索的にも示した成果（研究2）を踏まえ、災害ボランティアにおいて考慮されることがなかった、支援を返すという枠組みについて、哲学・人類学における「贈与論」を参照し、互恵性や負債を巡る理論から、新たな支援の理論を構築した。
以上から、本年度は、日本国内・国外での事例研究成果と、マクロレベルの研究成果を踏まえ、支援が連鎖するネットワーク型の支援理論を構築した。研究成果は、博士論文および、学術雑誌（国際誌1報、国内誌3報）としてまとめた。また、国際学会（3報）、国内学会（5報）での発表を通じ、研究成果を合わせて発信した。また、学会での発表成果が認められ、国際学会賞1報と国内学会賞1報を受賞した。
