Outline of Annual Research Achievements

我々はすばる/Hyper Spurime-Camの観測データと174個の分光同定されたLya輝線銀河を用いて、赤方偏移z=5.7, 6.6の2つの時代で初めて200x200x80 comoving Mpc3のスケールで宇宙の3次元地図を描いた。描いた3次元地図はz=5.692とz=6.585に銀河の密度超過領域があることを示しており、z=6.585の密度超過領域はこれまで報告された中で最遠方の密度超過領域である。宇宙論的流体シミュレーションを使って詳細な比較を行ったところ、これらの密度超過領域は赤方偏移0で銀河団に成長するような、原始銀河団であることがわかった。さらにサブミリ波で検出された爆発星形成銀河との天球面上分布を比較すると、z=5.7のLya輝線銀河と爆発星形成銀河の間に99.97%の相互相関を検出した。これらの結果は赤方偏移z~6-7という遠方宇宙においても、原始銀河団領域では平均の10倍ほど星形成立密度の高い、活発な星形成活動が起きていることを示している。これらの研究成果を論文にまとめ、投稿した (Y. Harikane et al., 2018, arXiv1902:09555)。
また、すばる/Hyper Spurime-Camの観測データから同定された1000個のLya輝線銀河と近赤外のSpitzer望遠鏡データ、サブミリ波のALMA望遠鏡データを用いて赤方偏移z~5-7の遠方銀河の星間物質の物理状態を調べ、論文を出版した (Y. Harikane et al., 2018, The Astrophysical Journal, Volume 859, Issue 2, article id. 84, 21)。
以上に加えて、複数の共同研究を推進してきた (T. Kinugawa, Y. Harikane et al. 2019, arXiv1901:03516, T. Shibuya, M. Ouchi, Y. Harikane, et al, 2019, The Astrophysical Journal, Volume 871, Issue 2, article id. 164, 13 pp.等)。
