Outline of Annual Research Achievements

当該年度は研究課題である「超対称大統一理論を用いた模型の構築」に関連して、昨年度完成させた2つの研究内容を学術雑誌に出版するとともに、以下の3つの研究を行い、うち1つの研究成果を論文にまとめた。
1つ目は、素粒子標準模型を超える枠組みである超対称性理論に基づく模型に関する研究である。本研究では、超重力理論の効果を考慮することで超対称性を破りつつ、標準模型粒子のパートナー粒子の1つであるゲージーノに十分大きな質量が得られることを示した。この結果は具体的な模型に適用し、より現実的な模型の構築が可能である。この点において非常に意義がある研究と言える。本研究は論文にまとめ、学術雑誌Physical Review Dに出版されている。
2つ目は、素粒子標準模型の右手型粒子を2重項とする対称性を新たに課した模型に関する研究である。本研究では、新たな対称性により多くのヒッグス2重項が予言される模型における、重い中性ヒッグス粒子が媒介するフレーバーの物理に着目した。これらの寄与を計算し、現在の実験制限から模型のパラメータに制限を与えつつ将来実験での観測可能性を調べた。本研究は最新の実験結果に注目したものであり、今後の研究の発展に貢献できるという点で価値のある研究と言える。
3つ目は、素粒子標準模型を超える枠組みの1つである超対称大統一理論に基づく模型に関する研究である。本研究では、1世代の標準模型フェルミオン粒子が1つの場に統一される模型に注目し、模型で生じる寄与を考慮して粒子の質量が再現できるかを調べる。特に、これらの寄与はフレーバーの物理などから大きさが制限されるため、この大きさを見積もった。本研究は現在進行中のものであり、今後は見積もった大きさから陽子崩壊などの物理に対する予言を見る。
