Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Research results 29年4月~30年3月 1.A permittivity range of biological tissue is very high and cannot covered by the current capacitance measurement system. In order to allow electrical capacitance tomography can visualize the pathology and physiological condition inside human body, a new scanning method is proposed based on four-electrodes measurement in low-voltage and low-frequency capacitance measurement. 2.The patient’s upper arm have different diameter condition among Lymphedema stages. The aim of this research is to develop an adjustable EIT sensor, which can be adjustable diameter of the sensor within a certain range therefore the electrode gap-to-diameter ratio (EDR) of the sensor is changed. A prototype EIT sensor with adjustable diameter and consists of 32 electrodes is manufactured and evaluated through experimental studies. The experimental results show that the EIT sensor with adjustable diameter can provide similar reconstructed images to a traditional EIT sensor which has a fixed diameter. 3.The acquisition measurement system based on FPGA and 32 electrodes attached to active electrodes circuit has been developed to establish a simultaneously dielectric dispersion measurement within 928 measurement pairs. 4.The clinical study with volunteer of Lymphedema could not be conducted during April 2017 to March 2018 due technical problem in data acquisition system. During this time, a prototype system was evaluated based on phantom objects and volunteers with normal condition. The research results of volunteers with normal condition are not published yet.
