Outline of Annual Research Achievements

日本では癌によって2017年に37万人の尊い命が失われ、医療費は年間4兆円を超えており、その治療技術の高度化は焦眉の急である。そこで、本研究は医学部との共同研究を重ね、手術不可能末期癌患者のQOL(生活の質)の向上を目的とした温熱化学療法に向けた低侵襲温熱治療システムを研究開発している。過去に本研究が開発した金被覆感温磁性体は金被覆ナシの感温磁性体(マイクロサイズ)より発熱効率は向上するが、金被覆により外部からの磁束がシールドされ、金被覆ナシの感温磁性体と比べ検出されるピックアップ電圧の変化量は減少し、検知精度を低下させるという問題があった。そこで、最終年度では金コーティングの代わりに磁性ナノ微粒子(市販または研究室内で開発のナノ微粒子)を感温磁性体に混合した新たなインプラント(マイクロ@ナノ磁性微粒子の混合物)を開発した。さらに、開発したインプラントの発熱効率や磁気特性(透磁率)の印加磁場強度・周波数の依存性を評価し、高い発熱効率かつ高い透磁率を同時に実現するインプラントの設計指針や印加磁場の励磁条件を明らかにした。
最終年度に科研費による支援で得られた研究成果を基に2件の特許(公開)、筆頭著者として学術雑誌に1件の論文(第二著者論文も含めると3件)の採録・掲載された。さらに、筆頭著者として国際会議に2件、国内学会1件発表した。また、上記の国際会議2件中1件がポスター賞、前年度に採録された原著論文が電気学会東北支部優秀論文賞、本学の学生表彰優秀賞を受賞した。
