Outline of Annual Research Achievements

共同学習の基盤となる、個人における手指系列学習の神経基盤について、3テスラMRIを用いた機能的MRIの解析を進め、異なる学習モードによる記憶痕跡を明らかにした。具体的には、顕在的学習を通じて形成される記憶痕跡は左前頭頂間溝に、潜在的学習により生成される記憶痕跡は両側背側運動前野と右一次運動野に表象されることが明らかになった。共同学習の転移効果を評価する上で、単独学習で生成される記憶痕跡の同定は重要な所見である。現在、成果を取りまとめた英文原著論文を投稿中である。
上記の系列運動に関する記憶痕跡をより詳細に検討すべく、同実験系を用いて7テスラMRI計測を進めている。15人の参加者を対象とした計測を行い、記憶痕跡を描出するための解析を実施中である。また、7テスラMRIの高空間解像度を活かして記憶痕跡の詳細な特徴を検討すべく、感覚運動領域内の指領域を同定する試みを行い、個人レベルで指表象を特定することに成功している。
共同学習の転移効果の行動実験については、現在も引き続き実施している。当初は、2者が異なる系列運動を交互に実行する共同学習を行うことで、実行しない相手の系列運動についても上手になる学習内容の転移が生じると予想していた。しかし、この実験系では有意な転移効果が認められなかった。そこで、2者が同じ系列運動を交互に実行する共同学習を新たに設定し、同じ学習の共有が個人の学習効率に及ぼす影響を検討している。パイロット実験では、同一内容を行う共同学習により1名は学習が早くなるが、相手の学習はむしろ遅くなる傾向が認められている。今後は共同学習場面における能力差や文脈(競争や協調)という要因を考慮して、共同学習が個人の運動学習に与える影響を網羅的に検討する方針である。
