Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本申請課題では,これまでに培った酸化グラフェン(GO)の真空紫外(VUV)光還元技術を踏まえて,GOの化学・光化学修飾により,GOの光電気特性を研究するとともに,GOの構造や電気伝導などに関する学術基盤に寄与することを目的とする.VUV光を基盤とするGOの微細加工・電子物性制御・機能化技術の開発およびデバイスへの応用と展開する.本年度は以下の2つの研究を遂行した.
(1)光電気化学や光触媒反応において有望な基板材料であるシリコンは,酸化環境で容易に表面酸化膜が形成し,絶縁となる.この酸化を防止するために,GOを水素終端化シリコン(H-Si)基板表面に担持した.さらに,VUV光またはUV光を照射することでGOを還元した.XPS元素分析によりGOの光還元メカニズムを解明した.さらに,電流計測原子間力顕微鏡(CAFM)によりGO還元体(rGO)の被覆したH-Si領域が導電性を持つことを確認し,rGOの酸化防止効果を証明した.
(2)グラフェン光検出デバイスは高速応答特性及び広い応答範囲を有するため,相関研究が盛んでいる.当研究では,グラフェンの代わりにrGOと金ナノ粒子(AuNPs)の複合体をチャネル材料として用い,AuNPsの局所表面プラズモン共鳴により,可視光領域での高いネガティヴ光応答性を有する光検出デバイスを開発した.
以上の研究は論文2報投稿した.加えて,CAFMによるGO・rGOの電気特性評価についても論文1報投稿した.
