Outline of Annual Research Achievements

変動エネルギーの成長に基づく燃焼安定性条件構築のため,昨年度までに明らかとなった支配的な変動エネルギー生成項に含まれる各項の寄与について検討し,生成項の簡略化を実施した.この解析によって,厳密な変動エネルギー生成項の簡略化が実現され,旋回乱流燃焼場に対しても適用可能な安定性条件の構築がなされた.構築された安定性条件は,スワール数0.6と1.2及び当量比0.6と1.0の旋回乱流燃焼場において,厳密な変動エネルギーの成長を正確に予測可能であった.また,旋回乱流予混合火炎の火炎構造と発熱特性の解明にも取り組み,ひずみを受ける層流火炎と旋回乱流火炎構造の比較によって,火炎面の接線方向ひずみ速度に対する熱発生率の応答特性を明らかにした.さらに,旋回乱流予混合火炎の火炎面法線方向の物質拡散に着目し,水素原子の拡散が,層流火炎の結果からは予想されない熱発生率の上昇をもたらす可能性があることを明らかにした.
一方,高圧・希薄条件におけるメタン・空気乱流予混合火炎の三次元直接数値計算(DNS)も継続して行われ,反応進行変数に基づく条件付き平均値並びに,接線方向ひずみ速度によって条件づけられた熱発生率の条件付き平均値を算出した.この解析によって,thin及びbroken reaction zonesにおけるメタン・空気乱流予混合火炎の火炎構造と発熱特性を明らかにした.
また,タンブル流を伴う高圧・希薄条件下のTRF・空気乱流予混合火炎の三次元DNSも進められ,DNSから得られた温度,熱発生率,化学種の分布と条件付き平均値からTRF・空気乱流火炎の火炎構造解明も進められた.
以上のように,本研究課題については,本年度も期待通りの進展があった.
