Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度、申請者は、シミュレーションモデルに基づく核融合発電所制御と、その応用による核融合発電所社会適合性に関する研究を実施し、想定以上の進展を得た。得られた成果について、論文2報(内査読付きプロシーディングス1報)、査読付き国際学会発表4件を含む多くの発表を実施した。
申請者は前年度に引き続き、核融合発電所プラントダイナミックモデルの構築に取り組み、一定の妥当性が確認されるモデルの構築に成功した。本成果については査読付き論文誌IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science誌にて発表した。
本プラントモデル構築により得られた成果は、特に核融合発電プラント制御においてはプラズマディスラプション時の制御が重要となるとの示唆が得られたことである。この点につき、申請者は初めて定量的な検討を実施し、成果を査読付き国際学会13th International Symposium on Fusion Nuclear Technology (ISFNT-13)において発表した。
これらの課題を解決する手法として蓄熱装置を含む複数の手法の検討が実施された。特に革新的な手法である核融合熱のプロセス利用に関しては、査読付き国際学会Proceedings of 2017 International Congress on Advances in Nuclear Power Plantsにおいて発表を実施するとともに、査読付きプロシーディングスとして発表を行った。さらに、英国王立協会主催の査読付き国際学会 Fusion energy using tokamaks: can development be accelerated?において発表を実施した。
