Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We investigated influences of body weight support, stride frequency, running speed, and running direction on biomechanical, physiological, and perceptual responses during running. Our observations suggest that changes in body weight support, stride frequency, running speed, and running direction may influence gait mechanics of running (e.g., muscle activity, knee angle, oxygen uptake, heart rate, and rating of perceived exertion).

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
