| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research attempts to clarify the structure and conditions for guaranteed learning to support children’s way of living, through awareness of the reality of truancy in South Korea and Japan. As the results of analysis that, Characteristics of guaranteed learning that supports children’s way of living can be organized into three points: 1. There was no fixed image of an “expected stage of development”. 2. The experience of facing difficulties was valued as indispensable for the growth of children. 3. Coming into contact with “third adults” in society with various ways of living was valued. Several conditions comprise the foundation of this type of learning: 1）relationships among parents, 2)relationships of mutual trust among teachers, parents and local residents. Learning that supports children’s way of living is comprised not only of school learning, but also founded in a community providing overall support of their everyday life.

近代学校の持つ競争教育とは異なる新しい「学び・学校（もうひとつの学校）、日韓のオルタナティブスクール（以下、AS）で展開している教育実践、その中に埋め込まれている、あるいはそこから生成される学びの生成論理及びそこにおいて求められる学びの「共同・協同」のあり方について探求し、それらの内実を調査により実証的に明らかにする。多くのASの教育実践は、社会的・教育制度的な保障が十分に担保されていないながらも、競争原理を超える教育の実現を理念に掲げながら、成績至上主義教育に対抗し、従来の短編的・断絶的な学びとは異なる、学び・労働・生きることが統合される三位一体の教育実践が積極的に展開されている事であった。
