Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study focuses on the "educational activities" conducted by the alumni associations of public girls high schools, which have not received much attention so far, and examines (1) how and to what extent the "educational activities" were conducted at the national level, and (2) how they were transformed after the war. As a result, it was found that from before World War II to the postwar reform period, "operation of domestic science schools," "operation of kindergartens and nursery schools," "establishment and operation of private high school for girls," and "movement to establish women's vocational schools" were conducted, but most of these were abolished after the war.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
