Outline of Final Research Achievements

I computed degree three unramified cohomology group H_{nr}^3(C(G),Q/Z) for |G|=3^5,5^5,7^5 using a computer, by improving Peyre's method. For |G|=3^5, H_{nr}^3(C(G),Q/Z) is not 0 if and only if G belongs to isoclinism family 7.
For |G|=p^5 (p=5,7), H_{nr}^3(C(G),Q/Z) is not 0 if and only if G belongs to isoclinism family 6,7 or 10. In that case,H_{nr}^3(C(G))=Z/pZ.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

ネーター問題は、有限群Gが体k上の|G|変数有理関数体に変数の置換として作用するとき、その不変体k(G)はk上有理的かという問題である。
kが複素数体Cのときは、不分岐コホモロジーH_{nr}^i(C(G),Q/Z)が非自明ならば有理性問題不成立なことが言える。不分岐ブラウアー群Br_{nr}(C(G))=H_{nr}^2(C(G),Q/Z)は比較的簡単に計算できるが、三次不分岐コホモロージーH_{nr}^3(C(G),Q/Z)が自明でない場合にH_{nr}^3(C(G),Q/Z)を具体的に計算した例は知られていなかった。
これで|G|=243の場合は複素数体上のネーター問題がすべて解決した。
