Outline of Annual Research Achievements

高密度核物質における状態方程式の性質に対する揺らぎ効果や相関の役割を調べることを目的に、核物質の有効模型を場の量子論における非摂動的手法のひとつである汎関数繰り込み群を用いて解析することが目的である。平成28年度は先行研究を参考に、これまでShankarによってWilson流で定式化されていた多体フェルミオン系の有効作用を、Wetterich流の汎関数繰り込み群としての定式化を行った。フェルミオン汎関数繰り込み群では、もともとWetterich方程式がもつ階層性が保たれており、現在の定式化では4点相関までの情報が取り入れられることが明らかになっている。一方で、σ-ω模型に関するWeiseらの先行研究では、フェルミオンが双一次形式のために積分できてしまい、揺らぎの効果はボソン揺らぎとして記述されているが、フェルミ面の存在を考慮した正則化因子が使われておらず、フェルミ面に向かってフロー方程式を解くような形にはなっていない。それらの違いが状態方程式に及ぼす影響を調べるために、現在数値計算のコードを構築している。

一方で、高密度核物質においてはカイラル非一様相などのエキゾチックな配位をもつ物質相の存在が期待されており、このような相における揺らぎの効果を汎関数繰り込み群を用いて調べるのが本研究の目標の一つである。その前段階として、冷却原子系ポーラロンに注目した。フェルミ原子縮退系や、ボース原子凝縮(BEC)系に投入された不純物原子は励起の雲をまとった準粒子(ポーラロン)となり、昨年から冷却原子多体系における準粒子の微視的構造や動的過程を詳細に調べる実験が始まっている。本研究では、これまでの一様系ではなく、実験と同じように、調和振動子型ポテンシャル中のBECに不純物を投入し、その周りの量子励起分布を中間結合理論を用いて詳細に調べた。
