Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We screened conditions for crystallization of class II LitR-LOV protein complex, but we were unable to identify the proper condition among 5,800 conditions. We showed that class III LitR serves as UV-A sensor, and controls the expression of folate biosynthesis gene. We also found thatγ-PGA production in Bacillus subtilis natto is repressed in a photo-dependent manner.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
