Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We found a novel post translational modification of AMPK responsive to food intake and have determined intra- as well as inter-cellular signaling mechanisms regulating the modulation, which suggests AMPK as a metabolic intersection where metabolic signals evoked by physical exercise and food intake crosstalk.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
