| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We are aiming at to create a resilience education program based on Action research for adult-onset type2 diabetes patients. Because of maintaining self-care can create an emotional burden associated with various hardship for diabetes patients. Exploring ways to improve a resilience for adult-onset type2 diabetes patients’ regimen, we tried to prepare the investigation for a resilience education program.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究の特徴は長期にわたる糖尿病の療養生活にて生じやすい困難や負担に対して、へこたれず、耐えながら、柔軟に対応している力、つまり糖尿病療養におけるレジリエンスに着目した点である。
今までの糖尿病教育の評価視点に加え、新たな糖尿病教育の評価視点として、長期の療養生活を余儀なくされる糖尿病患者の特徴をふまえ、レジリエンス（精神的回復力）を取り上げた。糖尿病教育プログラムを考案し、実際に運用することで糖尿病教育のアウトカム指標を確立し、エビデンスに基づいた糖尿病教育の提供につなげることができる。
