本研究では、4つのサブテーマの検討を通じて、司法精神医療における看護職が果たす役割の明確化を図り、精神科医療の質向上のための具体策を提案する。医療観察法施行後の経過の中で、司法精神医療のノウハウは徐々に蓄積されつつあるも、還元という課題への認識は、一般精神医療の分野において十分に浸透しているとは言い難く、看護師が担う役割は、きわめて多岐にわたることから司法精神医療で行われているケアの実態を明らかにすることを通じた啓発と司法精神看護学教育の充実は必須課題である。司法精神医療制度や専門教育体制は、国による違いが大きく、それらの充実のための国際的な視点からの検討を行っている。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study seeks to elucidate the roles of nursing professionals in forensic psychiatric care through the examination of four sub-themes and to propose concrete strategies for enhancing the quality of psychiatric services. Although expertise in forensic psychiatric care has been gradually accumulated since the implementation of the Medical Treatment and Supervision Act, awareness of the need to apply this knowledge to general psychiatric practice remains limited. Given the multifaceted responsibilities of nurses in this field, it is essential to promote awareness by clarifying the actual practices of forensic psychiatric care and to advance the development of forensic psychiatric nursing education. As forensic psychiatric systems and specialized educational structures vary significantly across countries, this study also explores these issues from an international perspective to contribute to their further development.

本研究成果の学術的意義は、司法精神医療における看護師の役割・支援の方向性の明確化と、看護基礎教育における司法精神看護や多職種連携教育の必要性を整理した点にある。社会的意義は、情報技術を活用した見守り支援モデルの検討を通じて、司法精神医療における患者の安全確保や早期の社会復帰支援の可能性を示すとともに、今後の支援体制や教育内容の検討に資する基礎的資料を提供した点にある。
