Outline of Final Research Achievements

This research designed and developed a tool and a method named "Plugramming" for children to experience collaborative work and an activity in programming learning. This tool can make a program by pluging tangible blocks with cable connection. We held three workshops and confirmed to promote children's collaboration using Plugramming.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

プログラミング教育の必修化が導入されようとしている現在,効果的なプログラミング学習が求められている.本研究は小学生を対象として協調的な学びを促進するワークショップデザインを主眼としている.プログラミングは情報科学の分野であるが,その学習をデザイン的な視点から考案するところが本研究の特色である.実際の活動の中で,プログラミング学習方法を改良していく過程の記述は,今後のプログラミング学習に貢献できる.
