Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have developed photo-responsive cell culture substrate that can generate mechanical stimuli with various spatio-temporal patterns. We succeeded in evaluating cell mechano-response to multidirectional and anisotropic mechanical stimuli by using the substrate. In addition, we also developed new optical manipulation methods for the control of growth of organic crystals.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
