Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study focused on the speed of social changes observed in a process of social development in the prehistoric Near East. It aimed to identify whether there are any patterns in the rate of social transformations, which can be represented in various aspects of human activities. The results demonstrated that the speed of social changes in this period was generally very slow, usually taking over a few thousand years, and is not like a low-like pattern. It suggest that social changes in the prehistoric Near East needs to be approached from the perspective that places an emphasis on the successive, often inefficient, contingent changes caused by human agency, whose decision was made through the tradition of local culture and the accumulation of social experiences.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
