Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Surface functionalization is a promising technology to create worthy materials. So far, however, there was little effort to accumulate metal element at the interface. We have challenged to obtain the interfacial metal assembly using metallo-supermolecular surfactant. Besides such metal assembly, we have developed metal thin film formation at the liquid-liquid interface by interface assembly of palladium nanoparticles and electroless plating on the soft interface.
