Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Informed consent (IC) has been emphasized as patients-centered medical care. However, it cannot be said that it is a process to share consent truly between patients and medical staff because each medical facility can only contrive ways to improve the IC. In this study, based on our established clinical framework consist of Airway(A), Breathing(B), Circulation(C), Dysfunction of central and peripheral nervous system(D), additionally, Infection/Inflammation/DIC(I), Nutrition(N), rehabilitation(R), Family(F), and transfer/transport/discharge(T), we developed standardized IC tools, particularly difficult to obtain IC, by multiregional study.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
・救急集中治療領域における診療録データベースを確立した後、書面による説明と同意を得る手順やそのツールとして、単にわかりやすい語への置き換えのみでなく、臨床における使用頻度やかかりうけを解析して重要度を勘案して研究を進めた。 ・造影剤のような薬剤使用リスクのあるものや、輸血実施に伴う同意と書類、DNAR(Do Not Attempt Resuscitation)、移植医療と意思決定に関わるものなど重大かつ特に社会的関心の高い対象についての同意形成を解析し、ツールを作成し妥当性を確認した。さらに教育にも活用した。
