Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We established an innovative culture system with microdevice, kidney-on-chip, which reproduces physical stress of glomerular filtrates and in vivo conditions. We established polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)-based compartment microfluidic cocultivation system of podocytes and renal tubular cells on multi-pore membrane coated with extracellular matrix.
