Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we hypothesized multiple levels of justification in which being exposed to information about social inequality in Japan would lower the sense of macro-level fairness (H1), whereas it would heighten a sense of micro-level fairness (H2). Based on the results of several WEB surveys which included the newspaper about social inequality as an experimental stimulus, the hypotheses were basically supported. However, it was also suggested that the responses to information about social inequality varied depending on the idea about an ideal society or cognition about Japanese society.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
