| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, first, I proposed a search model for involuntary recoll of autobiographical memory and verified its validity.Second, I examined whether rumination affects involuntary recall of depressive people.Thirdly, I examined in daily life whether overgeneral memory would occur if a depressive person did rumination.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究の特色・独創的な点は以下の3つに集約できる。第１にこれまで統合的なモデルが提案されていなかった無意図的想起の検索モデルを提案した点、第2に想起の基本形態である無意図的想起に抑うつと反すうが与える影響を検討した点，第3に反すうによる概括化が日常生活でも生じているかを調べた点である。
無意図的想起に抑うつと反すうが与える影響を調べることで，これまで欠けていた知見を補うことができ，これらが記憶に与える影響を正確に把握することが可能となるだろう。更に，日常生活で概括化が生じているかの検討は，抑うつが日常生活でどのような困難をもたらすかの理解につながると考えられる。
