Sort architectural changes about Public Bath buildings in the spa at Hokuriku district, Yamashiro, Yamanaka, Katayamazu, Awazu, Wakura, Yuwaku, and Old Tateyama hot-springs, from Edo period to after WW2. By sort the changes of plan size, structural type, and style, this study revealed the time of modernization of Public Bath, especially introduction of the concrete structure. And this study verified the cycle of repairs and rebuilding, and the factors. At some Public Baths, identified about planning, architect, builder, and building cost by new primary sources. In addition, revealed the transformation process at Yamashiro spa by focusing the relations between the rights of hot-springs and rebuilding of Public Bath in modern age.
