Outline of Final Research Achievements

To investigate the effect of L-carbocisteine with cisplatin or 5-FU on tumor growth, I treated mice bearing colon-26 tumor with these drugs. Tumors were measured every other day. Mice treated with l-carbocisteine and 5- FU or cisplatin presented with considerably smaller tumors than those observed in 5-FU of cisplatin treated mice.
