Outline of Final Research Achievements	We investigated the degranulation of ORMDL3-overexpressed mast cells. There was no significant difference between vector-transfected cells and ORMDL3-overexpressed cells. We found that cytokine (TNFα and IL4) production was enhanced in ORMDL3-overexpressed cells.The S1P agonist inhibited cytokine production in ORMDL3-overexpressed cell at the same level as vector-transfected cells. ORMDL3 overexpression does not affect calcium mobilization but enhances cytokine production via S1P mediated signal. These results suggest that ORMDL3 is associated with the development of allergic rhinitis.
