Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Here we assessed expression of actinin-4, which has been implicated in cancer invasion and metastasis, to investigate whether actinin-4 may serve as a prognostic indicator We investigated their clinical factors, immunohistochemically stained tumor samples for actinin-4, and performed association analysis. Actinin-4 expression was positively correlated with delayed cervical lymph node metastasis. Disease-free survival was significantly lower in patients who were positive for actinin-4 expression. Actinin-4 was an independent prognostic factor for disease-free survival in oral squamous cell carcinoma.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
