Outline of Final Research Achievements

Network meta-analysis is a method that pools evidence from randomised controlled trials that compare two or more treatments, but where each trial may compare different treatments. Network meta-analysis allows one to simultaneously estimate relative effectiveness for any pair of treatments in the evidence network.
We performed some network meta-analyses to assess the efficacy and safety of treatments in diabetes.

本研究の目的は、ネットワークメタアナリシスの手法を用いて、糖尿病領域における質の高いランダム化比較試験について、治療法間での治療効果や安全性の比較を行うことである。
世界の糖尿病・生活習慣病に関するランダム化比較試験を統合し、診療ガイドラインの策定に有益なエビデンスを提供することで、世界の糖尿病の治療・予防ガイドラインの礎となる。
