Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy affects not only brain per se but also liver and kidney. Therapeutic hypothermia suppressed liver injury. Whereas, therapeutic hypothermia did not suppress kidney injury. We consider that these results contribute to the establishment of treatment for neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
