Outline of Final Research Achievements

Based on the comparison in multiple languages between the UK, France and Japan, parallel to the relevant EU, international private and public law instruments, the principle of territoriality for digital copyright revealed some challenges. The research serves to clarify the areas where private ordering is likely to expand, as well as the increased role of procedure and contract law. The author concretised several proposals on the subject-matter by means of case law interpretation and law making.
