Research Abstract

本研究では、Ti/ゼオライト系光触媒に各種遷移金属イオン(V,Cr)をイオン注入することで、Ti/ゼオライト系光触媒の高い活性と選択性を保持し、可視光応答化が可能となることを見いだした。Ti酸化物種を導入したメソポーラスシリカ(Ti-HMS)は、250nm付近に孤立四配位状態のTi酸化物種の吸収を示すが、Vイオンを注入すると(V-Ti-HMS)、注入量の増加に依存して吸収が400nm以上の可視光領域までシフトする。XAFS測定および量子化学計算による検討により、Ti酸化物種と注入したV種がTi-O-V結合を形成することでTi酸化物種の電子状態に摂動が生じ、可視光吸収が可能となることを明らかにした。NOの光触媒分解反応を検討した結果、V-Ti-HMSは、イオン注入前のTi-HMSの高い選択性を保持し、可視光の照射下でNOを高選択的にN_2とO_2に分解することがわかった。また、VやCrイオンを注入したTi/ゼオライト系光触媒を用いると、可視光の照射下でCO_2のH_2Oによる還元固定化反応が進行し、メタンおよびメタノールが生成することを明らかにした。また、四配位構造のMo酸化物種を構築したメソポーラスシリカ(Mo-MCM-41)がH_2,CO,O_2の存在下で光照射すると、H_2中の微量COをCO_2へと選択的に酸化することを見出した。本反応は、光励起されたMo^<6+>酸化物種がH_2中のCOと選択的に反応しMo^<4+>とCO_2を与え、Mo^<4+>が0_2により元のMo^<6+>酸化物種に再酸化されるredox機構で進行することを明らかにした。また、本反応はCr-MCM-41上では可視光の照射下でも進行するため、太陽光を利用する燃料電池用の高純度水素製造のオンサイトプロセスへの応用が期待できる。
